Terms of service
Fraud- If there is fraud of any kind from buyer or seller, that user will be permanently banned from the site.
Verification- Cardyard verification confirms that the card received matches the listing descriptions and photos. Verification DOES NOT represent any official grading, guarantee of condition or authentication. We will do our best to notify each party if a card does not seem authentic. Verification inspections typically are completed within 1-3 business days upon receiving the card.
Failing of Verification - If a user has a card that fails verification in any way, the buyer and seller will be advised. We will work out a resolution for the card. The BUYER has all the rights to refuse the order and will get a full refund. If the card that is sent is completely different than what was ordered, a full refund will be placed and the sellers account may be temporarily suspended and go into review. If failed verifications continue to happen for the same seller, that that account is subject for removal.
Damage to Cards while in possession at Card Yard- While unlikely, if damage occurs to a card while it is in our possession, we will message the buyer and inform them of what happened. We will see if they want a partial refund and the card or a full refund. If a full refund is requested, it is to our discretion what then happens with the card. Whichever they choose will be paid by Card Yard and the original seller will not be affected.
Issues with shipping carriers- If a card is lost or damaged during shipping, we will do our best to work with you and the shipping carrier to process a refund. If the card is shipping direct from the seller to the buyer, the seller will be responsible. If the card is shipping from Card Yard to the buyer, Card Yard will be responsible for that card.
Shipping- Sellers are required to package cards securely using appropriate protection to the card( penny sleeve and top loader or other hard plastic case like a magnetic one touch. Improper packaging may result in seller liability for damaged cards.
Platform Standards- Card Yard acts solely as a marketplace platform connecting buyers and sellers. We will facilitate transactions and perform verification services. Card Yard is not the owner of the card unless stated. If Card Yard is the owner, it will be noted in the listing.
Payments- We will issue payment to the seller once delivery is confirmed to the buyer via tracking or once the card passes verification. All payments are processed through third-party payment processors. Card Yard is not responsible for errors or service disruptions caused by payment providers.
Returns- Generally we do not accept returns due to the nature and delicacy of cards, but there are some circumstances where they could be valid. If you have any return request, please message us at info@cardyard.shop and we will discuss a resolution.
Chargebacks- If there are chargebacks on any account without first contacting us to resolve the issue, your account will be banned. We understand chargebacks can happen but we need to know what is going on/ what happened.
Seller Subscription- Your subscription will start at the lowest subscription package after your first sale or your first month of listings. If you sell enough to reach another subscription tier, you will be billed accordingly at the start of the next month. Billing happens at the start of the next month for what your total sales were the previous month. For example, if you sell $500 worth of products in January, you will be billed on February 1st for $25 which covers that subscription tier that you reached. You will have 3 days to pay the subscription before your account is temporarily suspended or we will deduct the fee from your total earnings.
Verification Fees- Verification fees will be due for each verified transaction. We will make sure it is billed accordingly.
